ANNOUNCEMENTS: 1) Teacher Appreciation Week is right around the corner - May 5th - May 9th. Please see the schedule of school-wide planned events. 2) "ONE DAY'S WAGES DRIVE" WCA Spring Fund Raiser- please see the attached information and pledge card designed to help WCA with it's long term build out plan. 3) New positions anticipated for 2008-2009 at WCA can be reviewed by clicking on WCA Employment Opportunities . 4) BOARD ELECTIONS!!! It is that time of year again! There are two board positions open for election this year. The election will be held May 9, 2008. If you are interested in joining the WCA Executive Committee and help guide our school into the future, please go to our website www.wcacad.org, download the questionnaire and application located under Contact Us/Executive Committee and submit to the office no later than April 9, 2008. 5) VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! (3) Volunteers are needed for the upcoming WCA Board Election. It is a great way to earn volunteer hours. Responsibilities will include preparing for the election, creating ballots, staffing Election Day and then counting and verifying the votes.
